The Singapore National Karate Championship was held on 3rd September at the Grassroots' Club. This year's championship saw over 107 entries over the Cadet, Junior and Senior Categories.

The first event of the year kicked off with the KUS Interschool Karate Championship. Over 240 participants across 120 schools took part in this event. Our young participants displayed tremendous courage, determination and sportsmanship throughout the entire event.

Amid the excitement of the Karate community, the highly anticipated ITKC took place on October 23, 2022 at the prestigious National University of Singapore's University Sports Centre. With fierce competition from multiple university, polytechnic, and ITE karate teams, both in Kumite and Kata categories, the event was a showcase of outstanding skill and determination as participants proudly represented their schools.

KUS organized their National Kumite Championship under relaxed Covid-19 protocols. All members eagerly anticipated the competition and delivered impressive performances.

Despite the Covid-19 pandemic, KUS has successfully organized the National Kata Championship while adhering to the strict Covid-19 regulations stipulated by SportSG.
